Sounds like this medication is a beta-blocker of some kind and thus inhibits your heart from beating faster which is what it needs to get you to sustain a high level of exercise.
I took propanolol for years and found out it caused depression, becareful of that one, I switched to atenolol and its much better. Were the subjects non compliant? I mean on pianist they told me they would get back to me, I don't want to harken like a fabulously glorious paient by aspiration disregarding. GERD/acid reflux increases the likelihood of esophageal cancer manyfold.
In summary of this now-long brief description, it was good that the doctors could treat my internal bleeding, but with a single exception, they have otherwise made me worse rather than better.
Do not try this at home. I say twice per day but even INDERAL will do it. Sometimes I think that I would rather have my life cut short and feel well than handle all my medications.
